Canvas Conversations: Sheri Lambert

Sheri Lambert, born in northern California, grew up in a military family and had a nomadic childhood that lead to her love of travel. As a marketing executive, she has found herself in and out of airplanes conducting business on every continent. With over 25 years of experience in the marketing research industry, Sheri joined the Faculty at Temple University’s Fox School of Business, where she is an Professor of Practice in Marketing.

Her first foray into stitching, at the age of 16, was a canvas she cross-stitched for his sister. Quickly she moved into needlepoint and has been pointing every since. Years of needlepoint have gotten Sheri through raising three children (see photo above of her son sporting one of Sheri's needlepoint belt creations!) and running a global marketing firm.  She is proud to be the resident amateur photographer and “road trip planner” for @stitchphilly.

When traveling for pleasure, Sheri tends to stitch canvases (travel rounds and the like) of places that she is visiting while she is there (i.e., a Paris themed canvas when traveling in Paris).

We sat down with Sheri and asked her 20 questions:
